I am currently living in Pattaya (Thailand) and plan to move to Japan at the end of the year. As I wish to bring my cat along with me, I need to send my CAT’s blood sampling to approved laboratory in Japan. Do you have some info or advice to share with me?
Thanks in advance.
Hello! So glad I’ve found your site.
I am returning to Spain in 2 months with my 2 dogs and 1 cat that I imported from Spain 3 years ago.
They received rabies vaccinations in Europe 8 years ago and I have had them re-vaccinated every year since, in Spain and Thailand. Every vaccination is recorded in their pet passports.
Spain says that this is all that is required to allow them entry. Thailand says that they cannot leave without a new rabies blood test. Is this correct because it does not seem logical?
Kind regards,
Susan.
Hello Susan
if you have EU pet passport already, you can fly to EU without blood test result ( Normally the animals must be test for made EU pet passport, blue book )
Some country in EU ,if the animals(with EU pet passport) live in Rabies infected area such as thailand more than 2 month you will test blood again,to comfirm that please check with Veterinary service in your destination country.

Thank you for your prompt reply.
Spain will accept pets from Thailand with E.U. Pet Passport and record of annual re-vaccinations but Thai Government Vet will not issue Health Certificate allowing departure.
Can your Company obtain Health Certificates if we provide all necessary documentation?
Kind regards,
Susan.

Hello
I currently leave on Koh Samui and wish to take my dog to Spain. I eventually want to get her to London but I realise that she would have to be put into 6 months quarantine if I go straight from Thailand to the uk. If I take her to Spain, how long would she be required to remain in Spain before I get take her to the uk? Also, do you know how long it takes to get the passport for her from Spain to enter the uk?
Please advise.
