I am bringing a pet cat for a friend who is moving home to the USA when I go to visit in 1 month. I have a number of questions I would really appreciate some help with as there seems to be conflicting information in the different places we look. 1. I have been told by the airline that the maximum dimensions of the carry-on for a pet are 12inches * 14inches * 9inches. Is this correct? 2. Where can I buy a pet carrier from in Thailand that will be allowed by Delta (they can't seem to tell me). 3. I will be bringing the cat to Portland, Oregon in the USA. Do I need an import permit for this cat? If yes, where can I get one from? 4. I have read that I need to bring the cat to get a health certificate at the airport 3 days before departure.
