Hi Admin,
I am transporting a pet dog from Cambodia to the UK in six months time. I will need to change flights at Bangkok very briefly. Can you tell me what documentation I need to transit my dog through Bangkok airport and how easy/difficult it is to
get these documents completed. I will have proof of DEFRA admittance into the UK and blood test results for my dogs departure to the UK. Will the transit of my dog through Bangkok airport take very long as I don’t want to miss my conecting flight to Heathrow.
Can you help arrange for the completion of form1/1?
Thanks for all the information on your page, it is very helpful.

I was thinking about getting a parrot. Ive always loved birds, but want to make sure I can ship one back to the US after my living here in Thailand. I know that birds often bond to their owners and that selling a bird after this point is quite tramatizing for the animal (and the owner!).
What do I need to know? is there a website I can check out? is there anything I have to look out for when searching for a bird in Thailand?
Hi, Please can you let me know how to go about getting my cat from Thailand to England I fly with Egypt airlines. i have got her injections but not chipped or passport. plus i need to get Rabbies vaccination. Hi… I am going home this august to the philippines and i want to bring my to 2 dogs with me. Can i put them together in one big kennel? This is their first time traveling and i think they might be scared so i’m thinking to put them together and have them check in as an extra baggage since the Philippines is just 4 hours away from thailand.
Also, can i go to suvarnabhumi quarantine office with out my dogs 3 days before i leave. I just dont know how i will bring my dogs and stay for another 3 days in bangkok. I am from chiangrai and it would be hard for me to bring them 3 days before my departure just to get a health certificate for them. Can i do this without them. What’s the easiest way of doing this???
Thank you so much!
Hi,
Would like to bring my 4 month old puppy from Thailand to Washington, DC. Since it’s so far, usually there is a stop in Japan. I’ve read that Japan requires 40 day advance notice? Is this correct? I’d like to leave by the end of April, so is there anyway to bypass this? Also, have had rabies shots etc from local vet but information is in Thai(no one in U-Thong really speaks English). What should I do?
I am taking my 2 cats back to Dubai, and will have to get an export licence from Thai authorities, but I see I am supposed to take the cats to a department in Bangkok 3 days before they fly for an inspection. The problem is I live in Hua Hin, which is a long way to drive just to get them inspected. Is there any other way, or can this be done by my vet in Hua Hin.
Hello,
I am planning to buy a dog in JJ market this August. Would you know the latest procedures in exporting dogs from Thailand? I will be bringing the dog to my home here in Manila, Philippines. Does anyone in JJ market can fix the papers for me? or does the pet stores arrange papers? please reply to my email. thanks.
Hi, you have a very informative site and I just hope you’re able to help me.
I’m a Singaporean living in Thailand for 2 years now and am planning to head back to Singapore. I do have a cat with me – 1.5y.o. Persian and was wondering if you’d advise me on the following:
1. Stated on the above that Health Certificate is only available at Suvarnabhumi Airport Animal Quarantine, would it be available at any vet instead of taking my cat to the airport for it?
2. Im looking at returning back to Singapore asap, approximately how long would all necessary procedures take before I can have a green light to go?
3. I live around Bangna and there are nearby Vet Clinics, one which I do frequent since its closet to my place – would it be advisable to bring my cat to the clinic or an animal hospital (probably Bangna)to have it checked?
4. Could you advise me on which airlines would be cheaper to take my pet with me and if it is possible to have as carry on luggage instead of cargo (because my cat is very timid and it is my first time flying with him)
5. Alternatively, would pet relocation services be cheaper or more expensive than relocating my cat by myself?
I’d very much appreciate if I would be able to get advice from you soonest. Thank you very much in advance.

Hi,
I want to take a 4 month old puppy from bangkok to mumbai India. What is needed to be done. Am I personally needed for the health certificate or can the seller get it with a photocopy of my documents.
Also I will be flying from BKK to BOM. Will a photocopy of the Indian Quarantine NOC suffice cause I can’t get the original over in time to catch the flight cause the health certificate will lapse.
Hello,
I got questions regarding about the exporting procedure:
1) I am a Malaysian and is interested to buy puppy from certain kennel in Bangkok. Is it possible for me not to be there and the exporting procedure can be done sorts of like having an agent helping me to collect dog from the breeder and send it to me? ( I am not sure about the buying procedure since I interested to import dog from Thailand to KL, Malaysia)
2) If you do provide the service, how much will you be charging for example shipping a 14kg of dog with all the official paperwork?(Can give a quotation of the price) Besides that, do I need to help you to obtain the import permit?
hey Admin. Is there a possibility that i can get the export permit here in chiangrai. I am flying a direct flight from chiangrai to the philippines. Meaning all my check in baggage will be diverted to my connecting flight from bangkok to philippines. I wont have time to go to the quarantine department the day of my flight. Is there a quarantine department that you know here in chiangrai???
Also, if i can’t get a permit from here. Can i just go to the quarantine department at Suvarnabhumi without my dogs? Let me know what you think. Thanks so much!
Hello,
I’m currently looking into sending my pet dog shit tzu/terrier mix from Thailand to the UK. I am aware of the quarantine and i’m looking into it at the moment. But is there any other paperwork I would need to get my dog out of Thailand and to the UK and also, what would the average flight cost?
Kind regards
