How to Export pet from thailand
Documents Required for Pet Export
1) Certificate of VaccinationThe vaccinated date must not less than 30 days, but not longer than 1 year.
2) Health Certificate
Need to take the pet to the Suvarnabhumi Airport Animal Quarantine station only in order to issue the Health Certificate before the departure date within 3 days.
3) Copy Passport of the owner/shipper
Copy passport is required only the photo page only.
4) Import Permit (If applicable, check with your Government Organization).
Recommendation for Export of Dog and Cat
1) The animal (s) must be vaccinated against rabies wherever possible, a period of 30 days before the departure is recommended. Other vaccination is voluntary. A dog or cat that is younger than 3 months old is not allow to take any injection, so it can’t be shipped.
2) Prior to export, the originals as well as photocopies of
· Certificate of Rabies Vaccination
· Passport or other identification of the owner
· Updated Health Certificate

if your fligth at noon ( some vietnam flight maybe depart at 3.00 PM. )
you can made export licence early morning ( 8.30 am open) monday -friday and close for public holiday
after you finish for export licence , you can check in with dog and talk to airline to load you dog as excess baggage
( if you don’t have export licence and health certificate ,the airline not accept to load your dog )
best time to do 3 day before flight made export licence with health certificate day after that you will buy ticket
I am looking for a dog cage for my med. size dog. where do you find an airline approved cage so we can take him on as cargo? Our dog will go on the same flight as us on Northwest airlines. Thanks Hans

1.height from foot to back
2.lenght from head to end of body
3.the cage should be height from back to roof of the cage approximate 6 inch
4.the dog can sit and turn around in the cage

Thanks for the help with finding a cage. I looked at seacon and they want 10,000 baht for an airline cage,way more than I want to spend. My search continues.

it have a lot of pet shop ,(Cage made in china ,but ok for airline use, cost 3000-6000 baht) ,At Seacon cage made in USA cost 8000-10000 Baht
for your dog I recommend size for cage 2 ft X 3ft ( if you bring you dog by hand carry)

I’d like to know how much for blood test for dog ( I’d like to export my dog to Slovakia ) Do I need to send the blood sample to lab in EU country ? How much will it cost ? Do I have to wait for 3 months after blood test ?

I am transporting a pet dog from Cambodia to the UK in six months time. I will need to change flights at Bangkok very briefly. Can you tell me what documentation I need to transit my dog through Bangkok airport and how easy/difficult it is to
get these documents completed. I will have proof of DEFRA admittance into the UK and blood test results for my dogs departure to the UK. Will the transit of my dog through Bangkok airport take very long as I don’t want to miss my conecting flight to Heathrow.

1.see your dog at sorting area or airline office ( give some water and food)
2.Contact animal quarantine at Baggage claim No.8 (Arrival Hall ) Phone No.+662-1340636 to made Transit licence( If you don’thave transit licence ,you dog can not fly to Heathrow)
3.Transit Fee 50 THB ( Valid in 1 day)

I bought my shit tzu here in Thailand and I am planning to take him to the Philippines for good. So, I’m wodering what are those requirements needed. Actually my dog is 1 year old already and I think he is capable to be shipped. His vaccine will be due this 30th of December but I’m planning to take him on January. Is it possible to transport him? I was thinking about getting a parrot. Ive always loved birds, but want to make sure I can ship one back to the US after my living here in Thailand. I know that birds often bond to their owners and that selling a bird after this point is quite tramatizing for the animal (and the owner!).

Hi, Please can you let me know how to go about getting my cat from Thailand to England I fly with Egypt airlines. i have got her injections but not chipped or passport. plus i need to get Rabbies vaccination. I live in Patong so where do I need to go? Smokey is probably about 7 months old only. I tried to call but never could get through. I need to sort out soon as I leave Patong end of March. plus is there somewhere she can stay as I plan to go Cambodia and Laos before coming back to Thailand.

but you can export puppy if have import permit from Malaysia said that allow to import puppy lower than 4 month ,
